The mating pair was found among the green fruits of the Leea rubra (Red Leea). This bug also goes by another scientific name, Plautia crossota and it has quite a wide distribution range.

The nymphs below were found on the Centrosema molle (Centro) together with the adult bugs. The nymph differentiates it from another similar-looking bug, Plautia affinis.

Below were a population of adults and nymphs found on another host plant, Turnera ulmifolia (Yellow Alder). The yellow arrow in one of the pictures pointed to a small ghost ant (Tapinoma melanocephalum) which showed the relative size of the nymph compared to that of the ant.
